This is a non-accredited English course for adults.
Course description
On this ESOL course, everyday life will be explored (for example, shopping, health, local area and services) in the reading context.
This course is based on face-to-face teaching in a classroom setting.
You will learn about:
• Text types
• Skimming text for information
• Scanning text for information
• New vocabulary, words, and phrases.
• Developing your reading comprehension ̨Íåswag.
In addition to language structures, citizenship, employability and digital ̨Íåswag will also be embedded in the programme.
Assessment of learning will be done regularly throughout the course.
Information, advice and guidance will also be given to enable further course/professional progression.
