What we’ll cover: •You will practice speaking in different situations so by the end of the course you will be able to give a 3 minute talk on a given topic. – You will learn how to ask people for information and how to answer these questions, concentrating on asking for personal details. • You learn to listen to and understand information in a range of situations for example timetables and prices of things • You will also work on your pronunciation of English words. This is an English course for adults. You will work on developing your speaking & listening ̨Íåswag. You need foundational English ̨Íåswag to take this course, that’s why you’ll need to do a ̨Íåswag check to enrol. Don’t worry, this isn’t an exam. It’s for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level. Our friendly team will contact you to start your ̨Íåswag check as part of your booking. When you complete this module, you can continue with other ESOL courses. What to expect This ESOL ̨Íåswag for life Entry Level 1 course takes 84 hours to complete. The WEA is an experienced ESOL course provider. We want you to get the most out of your studies and open doors to opportunities. Our tutors and staff will help you with any language needs you might have. The WEA is committed to providing accessible adult education.
