Entry Level ESOL: Everyday English Elementary
This is a General English/Family Learning Class aimed at elementary (A1/A2) level learners. This course is for those whose first language is NOT English and in it we will practice all four major ̨Íåswag in each session to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Although this is a low-level English course, learners should be able to recognise sounds of the English letters and read simple lines of text prior to joining so that they will not struggle. Lessons will be delivered face-to-face using a range of teacher led and freer interactive activities to build learners’ proficiency and confidence in the English language.

History: How Renaissance Art Interpreted Christmas
This five week course will explore the art of the Renaissance and its depiction of the Nativity and Epiphany. We will explore a number of artists but our principal focus will be on works by Giotto, Fra Angelico, Botticelli, Breughal and Caravaggio. Each artist’s work will be well illustrated by reproductions on Canvas, allowing you to view the works under discussion.
The course will appeal to all those with an interest in the Renaissance and art more generally, and will provide context and interpretations of each major work under discussion.
