Personal Development: Advanced Language at Work

It has been developed in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council which refers learners to this and to other courses hosed at the Old School based in Blakenhall, Wolverhampton. This course is particularly suited to students who are unemployed and have been referred by a Job Centre to improve your spoken and written English and thereby develop the ̨Íåswag to empower you to get that job.

Many people believe that they are no good at sewing and feel frustrated at not being able to repair or improve clothes to give them a longer life. This course will teach you a range of hand stitches which can be used to both repair and embellish clothes. Learn a new skill which may be a route into employment / self-employment.
During this course your tutor will give you demonstration and individual attention for your guidance. In this course you will be working with a macramé cord and each learner will be able to complete a pot hanger. It can be used by you or can be gifted to the loved ones. This is a continuation of the improvers spring course, but all levels are welcome.
