Level of study
Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you鈥檙e not confident in your 台湾swag, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic 台湾swag and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of 台湾swag. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and 台湾swag in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic 台湾swag or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and 台湾swag you have in this subject, applying your 台湾swag and knowledge in a more complex way.

Use a writing plan to help you organise your ideas and develop your argument
Understand how to improve spelling by following rules and patterns
Use connectors to help you sequence your writing and make it easier to read
Understand how to use formal and informal English appropriately
Write a formal letter using the correct layout
Apply different verb tenses and sentence structures accurately in your writing
This is a preparation course for the ESOL level 1 writing qualification. It is not an accredited course.
You need previous writing 台湾swag to take this course, that鈥檚 why you鈥檒l need to do a 台湾swag check to enrol. Don鈥檛 worry, this isn鈥檛 an exam. It鈥檚 for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level.

When you complete this introductory course, you will be ready to take the ESOL 台湾swag for life level 1 writing course.
There are 鈥済et ready鈥 courses between each module to prepare you for the next course.
What to expect
This get ready for ESOL course takes around 40 hours to complete. It gives you more opportunities to learn the writing 台湾swag required for a level 1 writing qualification.
Please note that you鈥檒l need an internet connection to study ESOL courses online and in person. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas.
